WoodsLife Wanderers is a once-a-week outdoor afterschool program designed to inspire curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong connection with nature in elementary-aged children (Grades K - 6). Each week, students step outside to explore local forests, fields, and streams through hands-on adventures that encourage discovery, creativity, and play. Whether they're building forts, observing wildlife, identifying plants, or simply enjoying the changing seasons, children learn by experiencing the natural world firsthand.
Our program provides a welcoming environment where students can develop problem-solving skills, teamwork, resilience, and environmental stewardship while having fun outdoors. Guided by experienced mentors, children are encouraged to slow down, ask questions, take healthy risks, and build meaningful friendships—all while fostering a sense of wonder that extends far beyond the end of the school day.

While we love spending time with your kiddos, we do not offer after-camp care! We are also parents to school age children, and want to be home with them soon after they’re off the bus. For that reason, there is a late pick-up fee of $1 per minute per child.

No, transportation is not provided by camp. It was — and remains — a key goal in Lisa’s vision for the program, but the pieces aren’t in place yet. Please keep your eyes open for transportation updates in the future!
