Kindergarten Kamp provides students 3 hours of guided outdoor play and exploration. We meet once a week during the school year, extending the school day to include screen-free creative play, nature-based discovery, relationship skills and community-building.

Join us in Bradford Woods or in North Park. Our certified staff facilitate songs, hikes, crafts, and games, while allowing for student-led inquiry and encounters with our environment. Morning Kindergarten students flourish outdoors after a morning in the classroom. And afternoon Kindergarten students are grounded after spending a morning in the fresh air interacting with the natural world. Pack a lunch for your youngster and give yourself the gift of time while giving them the gift of growth!

  • We will eat lunch together at Kindergarten Kamp. Please bring along a packed lunch for your child when you drop them off for camp. Some snacks will be provided — some camp favorites are apple slices, trail mix, popcorn, homemade ice cream, and s’mores!

  • Fall Kindergarten Kamp is only open to current Kindergarten students. Spring Kindergarten Kamp welcomes 5 year-olds who are registered to attend Kindergarten in the upcoming school year.

  • Camp is on no matter the weather! We’ll make the most of a rainy day outdoors. In the case of inclement weather, activities will be under shelter or indoors. Keeping our campers safe is fundamental.

  • The 8-week session costs $300.

  • A discount in tuition may be provided for those who would like to volunteer and meet all requirements. Please contact woodslifeinfo@gmail.com for more information.

  • Cancellation must be given in writing via e-mail to woodslifeinfo@gmail.com.

    • If cancellation notice is given at least six weeks prior to the first day of camp: FULL REFUND (Minus $25 admin. fee)

    • If cancellation notice if given at least four weeks prior to the first day of camp (but less than six weeks): 50% REFUND (Minus $25 admin fee)

    • NO REFUNDS will be given within four weeks of the first day of camp or after camp has begun.

If a camper does not follow a safety policy and is removed from camp, NO REFUND will be issued. Bullying, verbal and physical aggression are not tolerated. We encourage all parents to review the camp descriptions and Camper Wellbeing & Safety Expectations guidelines to better understand the expectations we have in place to make our camps a safe place for everyone.

In the case of a medical emergency, please contact woodslifeinfo@gmail.com for refund options.

  • While we love spending time with your kiddos, we do not offer after-camp care! We are also parents to school age children, and want to be home with them soon after they’re off the bus. For that reason, there is a late pick-up fee of $1 per minute per child.

  • No, transportation is not provided by camp. It was — and remains — a key goal in Lisa’s vision for the program, but the pieces aren’t in place yet. Please keep your eyes open for transportation updates in the future!
