Forest Bathing

Intentional time spent outdoors has been proven to reduce blood pressure, lower cortisol levels, improve concentration and memory, and more. Join outdoor guide, Alicia Broudy, for an experience rooted in mindfulness practices. Forest bathing, or shinrin yoku, means ‘taking in the forest atmosphere.’ During this immersive and sensory experience, you can expect an easy walk of less than one mile, nature meditation, and opportunities to connect – with oneself, with nature, and with others. Forest bathing is suitable for most levels of experience and ability. Participants should be able to comfortably stand for 1 hour and walk at an easy pace less than one mile, with options to sit on the forest floor.
